  3. I thank God for these & all officers across the U.S., (& for God's gift of canines like Taco!) who put their lives on the line to preserve law & order; to protect and preserve peace in America. Our nation cannot endure w/out our law enforcement officers, who ensure the stability of the fabric of our communities. God grant them Your peace, Your comfort, and Your protection as they serve w/phenomenal courage & bravery. My prayers for Officer Aiken & Viano's are for a speedy recovery – body, soul & mind. Grant that all Americans turn to You, God, & pray for our beloved, peace officers in this great nation. May God bless the EMT's and Officer Viano for saving Officer Aiken's life.

  7. I’m surprised a K-9 officer isn’t always accompanied by another officer. It’s very difficult to handle the dog and firearm, if needed. Perhaps it’s due to staffing shortages. Car burglars are notoriously violent individuals, often involved in a criminal ring that deal in stolen cars, car parts and goods. Hopefully, from here on out a K-9 officer will always be accompanied.

  20. Thank you for acknowledging these officers and Taco. I was hoping the audience would have done a standing ovation for them. I guess they were the media and only look for the negative. I have so much respect for these two officers and all the other officers and EMTs that helped them to get through this.

  22. Thank God they were able to save Aiken and thank God Viano decided to go along !!! GREAT job Taco <3 wow how are you supposed to handle the leash and shoot back ??? Just so brave <3 Police budgets need to be increased everywhere and canine officers should not have to go it with just their canine partner no matter how good they are. Just wonderful, brave and very badly needed officers including Taco <3
