There was a documentary i watched on YouTube that showed areas growing by development of new homes etc is always playing catch up & they need more new growth to help pay for the already built new development needs.
The roads will be widen etc in about 20 to 30 years after the first homes are built. So yes congestion will get worse. Florida has proven over the last 25+ years that road infrastructure improvements will take 20 to 30 years to get done (but they will always be behind in handling the new congestion) so don't listen to those "experts" in this news segment.
