Keefe was nominated by President Donald Trump and was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on January 2, 2019. Keefe is the Chief Federal Regulation Enforcement Officer for the 23 counties in northern Florida, from Escambia in the west to Alachua in the east. The district is headquartered in Tallahassee and has places of work in Pensacola, Panama Metropolis, and Gainesville.
