  2. We weren't allowed to even have water breaks during our late 1990's football practices. Hell, we practiced on fields full of red ants in middle school and had to do pushups in ant piles without complaining. I remember being so dehydrated in high school that I was throwing up though my football mask, I took the helmet off, coach screamed at me never to never take it off on the field, then kept throwing up, took it off again, then he kicked me off the field. I went home. Practice started up again no problem next day.
