TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Leon County Commissioners will resolve if they are going to dedicate $70,000 to the Commission on the Standing of Males and Boys.

The CSMB is a product of the Anatomy of a Murder which discovered most Leon County homicides over the past 5 years had been dedicated by younger Black males.

In February, the town of Tallahassee authorised to fund a portion of the fee.

The purpose is to safe different funding from entities akin to Leon County Faculties.

Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil says the applications will present a number of types of intervention to scale back crime.

Tuesday, leaders will resolve if the cash comes from their finances or the regulation enforcement belief fund.
