For me, Parkland was #1. Being so close to home, we heard just about everything. The biggest reason why it is #1 though, to me, is because these parents of the 17 are doing AMAZING, just INCREDIBLE things, across THIS COUNTRY for safe schools. 2 Examples are – Max Schachter worked with President Trump to get the Federal School Safety Clearinghouse. Lori & Dr Ilan Alhadeff have gotten Alyssa's Law passed in FL, NJ, and are working on getting it passed in all states.
These parents have worked day in & day out to honor their children by doing everything to make sure everyone else's children can be safe at school.
My opinion of the trial:
This was a travesty. Judge Scherer and head prosecutor Mike Satz were VERY professional. The defense was a MESS, and they were an utter EMBARRASSMENT. DP cases need to go back to the majority or supermajority.
Coward County FAILED the Parkland families. I wish I was on the jury instead of the fool that voted mercy for the Parkland murderer.
