What a family, Harvey, Donna and Charlie, tax evasion, Charlies dental malpractice ( all on the wiretaps ) Law Proffessor Wendi doting over druggy and miami playboy brother Charlie, do not let that "professional facade" fool you… after the plausibly deniability tactic at the police station and playing "whodunnit" with the police, "innocent" Wendi then left town and has ignored cooperating with detectives in finding the killers ever since.

When it went "tits up" and the shooters were caught, started to talk but everyone in the conspiracy had limited knowledge and the reason why "boss" Wendi had to be shielded with her being the prime suspect.

Her get out of "jail card?" Someone out of her family ( to whom under oath she's never spoken to about the murder ) had it organised to shoot the kids father without her knowledge or authorisation.

Do you really think an affuent family "gang member" would organise to kill the father of two innocent kids without the authorisation from the kids mother, Wendi?

This was an "Adelson gang," murder for hire plot and like any gang hit, the "boss," Wendi having the most beef with her ex ( On paper ) and the most to gain from the hit, would've authorised this hit and therefore should go down and be arrested next, very soon.
