Sarah Shirley Watson, 87, passed away on February 21, 2024, in Camilla, Georgia. She was born to Charles LeRoy Collins and Mattie Louise Jones on October 31, 1936, in Pelham, Georgia. She will be missed by many.
Ms. Shirley was a long-time member of North Florida Baptist Church. She loved to garden, spend time with her family, and often attended motorcycle events.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Carroll Collins, Catherine McLaughlin, and Margaret Palmer. She is survived by her sisters, Betty McDonald and Charlotte Goetz; her son, Paul Watson (Janie); her granddaughters, Sarah Watson, Sierra Watson, and Shelby Watson; as well as many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Abbey Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM.
